A ramming tool attached to the rear of a steal pipe drives the pipe into the ground with repeated blows. Pipe rams are used for larger pipe installs in gravel or stony ground.
This method is often used where directional drilling or thrusting can not be achieved because of ground conditions. Pipe rams are used for multiple duct installs and are beneficial under rail way lines and busy state highways.
Underground Brown was founded by Tony and Vicky Brown in 1992 to leverage Tony’s 12 years of experience in underground utility installation techniques during his work within the Telecommunications industry.
